Istanbul Culinary Institute operates in a modern building in Tepebaşı with a panoramic view of the Golden Horn and the historical peninsula. The building incorporates four different levels of kitchens set-up for different functions.

On the street and mezzanine levels, Enstitü Restaurant serves daily changing menus of seasonal Turkish and Mediterranean dishes, following the seasonal eating philosophy of the Institute.

On the next floor above, the professional kitchen serving the Enstitu is fully equipped according to the latest trade standards, for the smooth transition of Chefschool graduates to careers in the industry.

Located on the third floor, the Institute’s basic training kitchen is fitted with individual workstations, refrigerators, variety of kitchen appliances, work counters, bread and pastry ovens and other equipment, all arranged in a way to prevent congestion during teamwork and to allow each student to work comfortably in his/her individual workstation.

The fourth floor of the Institute is set up with a classroom for theoretical courses and seminars, a demo kitchen for guest chefs and faculty, film/video projection system, internet access for students and a reference library containing publications on the culinary cultures of Turkey and the world.

Specially equipped for amateur cooking classes, the kitchen on the fifth floor contains home-style appliances that allow the participants to easily replicate at home, what they learn in these classes.

The top floor of the building houses Istanbul Culinary Institute’s administrative offices.
