Istanbul Culinary Institute operates in a modern building in Tepebaşı with a panoramic view of the Golden Horn and the historical peninsula. The building incorporates three different levels of kitchens with different set-ups for different functions.

At the busy street level, visitors are met by a wine and coffee bar and the food store counter. Serving between 7.30 a.m. and 6.00 p.m., breakfast, lunch,snacks and pastries are available.

In the mezzanine level, Enstitü Restaurant is open for lunch daily, serving a selection of a la cartes items as well as fixed menu prepared by second semester students of the chefschool certificate program under the supervision of their faculty chefs. The professional kitchen, serving the Enstitü, which is located on the next floor up, is fully equipped according to the latest trade standards in order to facilitate the smooth transition of chefschool graduates to careers in the industry.

Above the Enstitü kitchen, IstCI’s basic training kitchen is fitted with individual workstations, refrigerators, variety of kitchen appliances, work counters, bread and pastry ovens and other equipment.

The next floor above is arranged as a classroom for theory courses and seminars with a demo kitchen for guest chefs and faculty, film/video projection system, internet access and a reference library. The top of the building contains IstCI administrative offices.
